When Ledger Live opens, choose Set up as new device. Your Ledger will generate a recovery phrase — a unique set of 24 words that acts as the master key to your wallet.
Your Ledger will show 24 words on its screen. Write them down carefully in order on the recovery sheets.

Set a secure PIN code on your Ledger device. This protects your wallet if someone tries to access it without permission.
